Treatment plans are customized based on hair type, size of area, growth cycles, timing, and skin response.
We use two types of advanced electrolysis modalities to ensure safe, effective, and customized permanent hair removal: The Blend Method and Flash Thermolysis.
The Blend Method combines gentle heat (thermolysis / AC) with a small electrical current (galvanic / DC), making it especially effective for coarse, deep and curly hair follicles. It works gradually and thoroughly, which is ideal for sensitive areas and distorted hair follicles.
Flash Thermolysis uses rapid, high-frequency heat to treat hairs I a fraction of a second. This method allows for faster treatments, is more comfortable, and highly efficient for larger areas.
By offering both modalities, we tailor every treatment to your hair type, skin type and sensitivity, and timing for optimal permanent results.

FAQ’s
-
Electrolysis is a precise treatment that uses a tiny sterile probe (or needle) to deliver a small, yet powerful amount of electric current into the hair follicle. This permanently disables the follicle’s ability to produce hair.
It is the only method recognized for permanent hair removal in Seattle and worldwide.
-
Hair grows in cycles. Multiple treatments are required to fully clear an area.
Many clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions to achieve full clearance, then reduce frequency as growth diminishes.
Your treatment plan depends on:
Hair density
Hormones (including PCOS)
Area being treated
Previous waxing or laser treatments
-
Electrolysis and laser are different technologies.
Laser hair Removal (LHR) reduces hair growth and works best on dark hair with light skin. LHR cannot be used on White, Grey, Red, or Blond hairs.
Electrolysis permanently destroys individual hair follicles and effectively works on Blonde hair, Gray hair, Red hair, Dark skin tones, Hormonal hair growth ( usually on chin and jawline)
Laser Hair Removal and Electrolysis can work well together. We will go over all the options available to you and create a customized during your consultation.
-
You may feel some heat or a quick pinch - like sensation during your treatments. Most clients describe it as tolerable.
We use modern electrolysis equipment and advanced modalities to maximize both comfort and efficiency.
You can also use numbing creams prior to your appointments to minimize discomfort.
-
Temporary redness or mild swelling may occur and typically resolves within 1 hour to 72 hours.
Sometimes small pinpoint scabs happen. While this is not ideal, there will not be any permanent damage. It means the hair follicle was over treated. Let us know so we can adjust the settings at your next appointment.
Sometimes we make over-treatment part of the care plan, specifically if there is a surgery date deadline.

We use two advanced modalities:
Blend Method – Ideal for coarse, deep, or hormonally influenced hair. The Blend Method utilizes thermolysis and galvanic currents at the same time. Thermolysis cauterizes the follicle with heat. Galvanic cauterizes the follicle by causing a chemical reaction within the hair follicle that creates sodium hydroxide (lye). Lye is caustic. Galvanic current is especially great for curly and distorted hair follicles.
Flash Thermolysis – Rapid and efficient for dense growth and faster clearance. It is very effective.Your provider will select the method to be used based on your hair type, comfort level, and we often utilize all of the methods throughout our clients hair removal journey
